Here's what people have said about us, their words are a testament to the impact we've had and the experiences we've created
As Chief Scientist at CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, I've witnessed Kilkari R&D team's remarkable dedication and passion in water sciences. Their innovative low-cost arsenic removal device, employing multimedia filtration and magnetic separation with Neodymium iron boron magnets, stands as a testament to their multidisciplinary approach and commitment to societal welfare.

At Bihar Bal Bhawan Kilkari, our mission is to nurture innovation, creativity, and a scientific mindset in every child. We encourage them to sharpen their observational and analytical skills to address real-world issues, fostering both personal growth and social betterment. A prime example of this is the Arsenic project, where our young researchers have dedicated five years of diligent work. Their efforts have led to significant achievements: comprehensive research, the development of an arsenic filter, a patented technology, and the honing of valuable skills. Notably, our technology requires minimal maintenance, no consumables or chemicals, resulting in remarkably low ongoing costs.

Researchers have concluded from this project that arsenic can be removed from water by engineering over its magnetic properties. Researchers have designed and tested various shapes like 'spherical,' 'cylindrical,' and 'conical.' The current design successfully removes 165 PPB of Arsenic to Below Detection Limits (BDL). I'm very confident in the success of this project, not only for mitigating the problem of Arsenic in governmental projects, but it is also worthy of international recognition and implementation. They'll be able to bring forth a good name for the state of Bihar.
Sanjeev Kumar, IAS
Director, Science and Technology, Government of Bihar
Kilkari entrusted me to supervise young researchers in developing an arsenic elimination technology using magnetic fields. Their groundbreaking work effectively removed 99% of arsenic from groundwater. I wholeheartedly supported these young minds in their quest. Arsenic is a grave threat, particularly in the north and east, where vulnerable populations lack access to clean water, leading to life-threatening diseases. It's heartening to witness their creation of an affordable, effective solution that can potentially save lives across the nation.
