Endless consumables
Filters, chemicals, and membranes that demand constant replacement and generate secondary waste.
Through multidisciplinary mastery and pioneering innovation.
A deep-tech water technology startup turning molecular science into deployable infrastructure — starting with consumable-free arsenic removal from groundwater.
Science with sustainability. From the lab to the field.
The sustainability does not.
Navmarg does not build another filter company. We rethink water treatment from the molecular level and connect science, hardware, measurement, and intelligence into one platform.
Filters, chemicals, and membranes that demand constant replacement and generate secondary waste.
Crore-rupee water plants fail when communities cannot sustain operations and maintenance.
We design for long-term public value: low-maintenance systems that can keep working after deployment.
Advancing scientific pathways toward sustainable technologies for safe water.
To explore the boundaries of science and technology and build conscious innovation that truly uplifts society.
Four integrated verticals that stack together: science, contaminant removal, real-time measurement, and decision-support intelligence.
Selectively removes contaminants without chemicals, consumables, or secondary waste.
Explains why separation works at the material level so performance is scalable and defensible.
Field sensors for continuous water-quality readings instead of delayed lab-only decisions.
Dashboards that map contamination and predict risk for governance and infrastructure planning.
Molecular-scale science combined with selective separation creates defensible technology depth.
Science, hardware, diagnostics, and dashboards build compounding value over time.
Water contamination requires reliable public infrastructure, not one-time sales.
Field systems and water intelligence combine into a full-stack water company.
A timeline of research, field validation, institutional recognition, and early scale.
Arpit Kumar and Abhijeet Kumar begin arsenic work at the R&D Science Section, Bihar Bal Bhawan Kilkari, Patna.
The first prototype is built and 3D-printed; structural setup and early field trials take shape at Maner, Patna.
With PHED's Pranjal centre, units deploy across Bhojpur and Buxar. Arsenic is cut to below 2 ppb with CSIR validation.

People who have worked with the team and seen the technology move from research to field deployment.
As Chief Scientist at CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, I have witnessed the team's remarkable dedication and passion in water sciences. Their innovative low-cost arsenic removal device, employing multimedia filtration and magnetic separation with Neodymium iron boron magnets, stands as a testament to their multidisciplinary approach and commitment to societal welfare.

At Bihar Bal Bhawan Kilkari, our mission is to nurture innovation, creativity, and a scientific mindset in every child. The Arsenic project is a prime example, where our young researchers have dedicated five years of diligent work. Their technology requires minimal maintenance, no consumables or chemicals, resulting in remarkably low ongoing costs.

Researchers have concluded from this project that arsenic can be removed from water by engineering over its magnetic properties. The current design successfully reduces 165 ppb of arsenic to Below Detection Limits. I am very confident in the success of this project for governmental projects and international implementation.

I supervised these young researchers in developing an arsenic elimination technology using magnetic fields. Their groundbreaking work effectively removed 99% of arsenic from groundwater. It is heartening to witness their creation of an affordable, effective solution that can potentially save lives across the nation.
